A spine surgeon whose clinical decisions are shaped by a deep foundation of published research.
Dr. Aniruddh Agrawal is a spine surgery fellow at the University Hospital of Wales, Cardiff, with an upcoming fellowship at Toronto Western Hospital under the globally renowned Dr. Michael Fehlings. His clinical practice is grounded in a rich foundation of published research spanning minimally invasive spine surgery, endoscopic techniques, adult spinal deformity, and paediatric orthopaedics.
Over the course of his training he has assisted or performed more than 210 spine surgeries, 120 arthroscopic procedures, 108 arthroplasties, and 148 trauma cases. He holds full GMC registration in the United Kingdom and is ECFMG certified.
His research is aimed at improving patient outcomes through better surgical techniques, smarter implants, and a deeper understanding of spinal biomechanics — work that directly informs how he treats every patient.
